Hardnox writes, I like the guy, always have, because he has some good ideas.
Good ideas? That's all swell 'n stuff, Hardnox, but how capable is he to guide our Ship of State? Or do slogans rule the day?
Tenth states, The measure of a man's intelligence being how well he agrees with you, I'd say he's right smart.
Could you elaborate on this statement a bit? I don't know what you are talking about.
I'd prefer not to post this next remark, but I feel that you force me to. Just this AM, I heard a conservative commenter state, "Mitt Romney-a dumb person's idea of what a smart person looks like."
What the hell do you know about qualifications to run the ship of state? The guy you support is worse than the skipper of the Exxon Valdez.
I have been saying for quite some time that congressmen need to earn their living at home, just like Mr. Perry said in this interview. Since he agrees with me, he is obviously a genius.
As for your Mitt Romney quote, I'd have to agree. A lot of stupid people think he looks smart. Unfortunately, looks are often deceiving.
The definition of fit to be President has been in steady decline for decades. I'm not sure where the cutoff is now, but surely Perry is more fit than Obama.
I saw these earlier and think that Perry is still very much in the race. Republicans are trying too hard to find the perfect candidate. I still believe that we are better off with a governor, someone who understands being an executive.
GOP voters in a Virginia focus group say they have not warmed to Mitt Romney, are worried about Newt Gingrich's volatility and have all but dismissed Herman Cain.
In 30 years, nobody will be errecting Obama statues and memorials in thanks for all he'd done...unless of course he's successfull in turning America into the next North Korea.
Perhaps they want to disassociate themselves with failure?
By the way, I wanted to ask you where you 'got' the information about the statue? I check out several news sites and never saw that 'news' article. Wait! Let me guess...how about AM talk radio???
Well, the answer to the question, not that you really care about it, is that a group of people on Facebook, yes FACEBOOK, 'demanded' that the statue be replaced by a statue of an Indonesian.
Yes, by a REAL Indonesian, not a 'usurper' like Obama. [I guess that damned Hawaiian birth certificate disappointed the Indonesians.]
Any way, the statue, the 'Little Barry' statue, is going to be placed at the gates of Menteng One Primary School The school principal stated, "For us, we'd like the statue to be in the school to inspire the children to have big dreams like Obama."
By the way, that school- Menteng One Primary School- is where, according to right-wingers, Obama was brainwashed into believing in Marxism which, logically, is why he is a 'Marxist' today.
Too funny, Sepp, but then, they don't call your political bent the REACTIONARY RIGHT for nothing!
You are a crappy researcher too - I found stories with a simple Google search (you have heard of Google?) from Reuters, USA Today, CNN, and MSNBC on the removal of Obama's statue.
I'm not buying it - the New York Times and MSNBC - both Liberal (Democrat, Progressive, Socialist, whatever) standard sources carried the story. It was carried by Reuters and AFP. Your excuse doesn't wash.
I remember reading about it in The Washington Times. Read a real paper - and you'll get real news.
"The news media which I regularly check did not carry the pathetic story."
THAT is why you're always the last one to get any information muddy.
I've told you many times that the lefty sites you get your "news" from purposely omit or, downplay your dear leader's screwups and shitty policy decisions.
The "news" you're getting is sanitized for your comsumption so you lefty's don't get upset.
If Obama tripped over his shoelace and fell, msnbc would have reported that it was a successfull attempt by Obama trying to fly.
He needs to go away..........He is not fit for the presidency either.
ReplyDeleteIn the leno vid he admits he's closest in politics to Jon Huntsman! That is disappointing.
ReplyDeleteI like the guy, always have, because he has some good ideas. He's not as polished as the others and I think that is good.

So, Tenth, tell me more about your quote.
Mud,
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell do you know about qualifications to run the ship of state? The guy you support is worse than the skipper of the Exxon Valdez.

Hardnox,
ReplyDeleteI don't think he meant he was close to Huntsman politically. I think he meant they were friends.
He said he and Newt were friends.
Johnny,
ReplyDeleteThe definition of fit to be President has been in steady decline for decades. I'm not sure where the cutoff is now, but surely Perry is more fit than Obama.
Tenth,

ReplyDeleteGOP voters in a Virginia focus group say they have not warmed to Mitt Romney, are worried about Newt Gingrich's volatility and have all but dismissed Herman Cain.
Looks like Perry, Bachmann or Trump
Romney would make a great president...on a tv show. He's an actor who's been playing the role of a politician for years.
ReplyDeleteHe's an actor who's been playing the role of a politician for years.
ReplyDelete...channeling Ronald Reagan
You're an idiot.
ReplyDeleteReagan was a natural. THAT is the difference.
ReplyDeleteIn 30 years, nobody will be errecting Obama statues and memorials in thanks for all he'd done...unless of course he's successfull in turning America into the next North Korea.
...unless of course he's successfull in turning America into the next North Korea.
ReplyDeleteDo you worry about that, Sepp? Are your nights restless and sleepless thinking about that possibility?
Or are you just playing politics as usual?
No, I'm not losing any sleep over the idea but thanks for your acknowledgement that it IS a possibility.
ReplyDeleteDoes the idea that Obama won't have the gratitude of nations as Reagan does bother you?
I understand that Indonesia has already removed the statue of him there.
Obama and Romney can talk a good game but, when they're forced to actually play, they can't jump.
I understand that Indonesia has already removed the statue of him there.
ReplyDeleteAnd why, Sepp, did the Indonesians remove the statue of 10-year-old Obama?
You'll have to ask them why muddy. They certainly aren't rushing to errect an adult statue of him either.
ReplyDeletePerhaps they want to disassociate themselves with failure?

Hey Mud_PILE,
ReplyDeleteYou are a crappy researcher too - I found stories with a simple Google search (you have heard of Google?) from Reuters, USA Today, CNN, and MSNBC on the removal of Obama's statue.
The NY Times carried the story:
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/06/world/asia/06indo.html
What difference does it make how the Indonesians registered their protest?
You really need to find a different line of leisure activity - you aren't very good at this.
CS- I didn't "search" for the story until Sepp brought it to our attention. The news media which I regularly check did not carry the pathetic story.
ReplyDeleteRush and the right-wing bobbleheads obviously dug it up and fed it to Sepp and the other hungry red-meat wingers.
Mud_PILE,
ReplyDeleteI'm not buying it - the New York Times and MSNBC - both Liberal (Democrat, Progressive, Socialist, whatever) standard sources carried the story. It was carried by Reuters and AFP. Your excuse doesn't wash.
I remember reading about it in The Washington Times. Read a real paper - and you'll get real news.
TGP- You were 100% correct in your response to my statement.
ReplyDelete"The news media which I regularly check did not carry the pathetic story."

Mud_PILE,
ReplyDeleteYou know -Sepp makes a good point - there's a big bad world full of actual knowledge that you are oblivious too. What else don't you know about?
That's kind of what we've been trying to tell you all these months.
