Today's Favorite Board Game

I got this from over on ObamaCartoons.  A clear, concise explanation of the Obama Economic Plan.

Thanks, Ron.

You know why I said that, don't you? It's because you really don't know too very much. You are the prime example of the right-wing echo chamber- it goes from your ear to your mouth without processing in the cerebrum.

The most recent example of your brainlessness was the idiotic statement you made about birth control pills when you said that taking then [or not taking them] was NOT a health issue for women.

    What a dumbass!

  12. Yeah, yeah, yeah, everybody that doesent swallow leftist bullshit are all a bunch of dummies.

It's funny though that "the dummies" seek liberty through independence while you libs seek "liberty" from any form of personal responsibility.

Odd...anytime I ask you anything about responsibility, you evade the issue like a crackhead does a cop.

What liberal ideas or, programs aren't parasitic?

What "right" do you have that someone else should be responsible to provide for you?

For being so damned "brainy", you moonbats seem to be pretty dependent on others for your very survival in every respect.

A dependent is the only thing liberal policies and ideals create.

If you know of a liberal policy that has created prosperity or actually lifted people from poverty, please feel free to correct me since most liberal ideas seem to perpetuate poverty and, keep the impoverished dependent on liberal promises of sustainment.

Go ahead and admit it muddy, liberals don't want to solve the problem of poverty or, else they'd make it an unattractive alternative to sustaining it.

Liberals NEED the impoverished and uneducated because liberal ideas are easier to sell those people on.
    Class envy.
    Something for nothing!
    Free lunch!

Why eliminate poverty when the dependence of the desperate is all you have to perpetuate a parasitic ideal?

  14. How do any of you know anything about Ms. Fluke's sex life? She never mentioned herself once in the testimony, only Rush asked how she could walk after having so much sex. Maybe he had sex with her.

And who said the health care was free? It's a student only health plan, not subsidized by the university. And 94% of the student health plan owners want birth control included.

And J.O.B., I think the part in the constitution you're looking for comes after the 3/5 of a man part but before the section on Social Security.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Alph- Is that a joke? So it's between Section 1, Article 2 & nowhere to be found? I asked a serious question. Do you have an exact answer?

    ReplyDelete
  16. alphabet,
Social Security isn't in the Constitution. You might want to read it again.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Alphabat, I haven't asked her about her sex life.

But, what IS known about her is that she's been a career student of worthless liberal programs until she entered law school and, a "professional victim" for leftist causes.

Do you think Pelosi just happened to randomly choose her to lie to congress?

Of course not. She needed a professional moonbat to claim that the birth control pills that the newscrew found at CVS 4 blocks from her front steps and cost $108 a year actually cost $1000 without blinking an eye.

Keep your eye on that girl, anyone that moonbattish and willing to lie for an agenda will certainly be a Democrat Congresswoman in the near future.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hmmmm.....something went over some people's heads.

My serious answer is that the Constitution of the United States is a fluent instrument. That is why there are amendments and we elect a Congress. A Congress that passes laws that a Supreme Court checks for legitimacy and a President implements. It's called the the United States Of America.

And the health care mentioned by Mr. Limbaugh is not free. Nor is it paid for with any tax dollars. It is a private health "INSURANCE" plan owned by and paid by students at Georgetown University. A plan that 94% of the owners want to include birth control options.

You must learn at least two things:
    1. Catholic inspired institutions are NOT owned by the Pope in Rome. (Think Chinese restaurants in the United States are not owned by the President of China.)
    2. Rush Limbaugh said some very nasty things about this women that he had no way of knowing if they were true or not. He apologized for calling her a slut and a prostitute. He also inquired who gave her condoms in the sixth grade and wondered how she could walk after having so much sex. He never apologized for those two comments or 43 other comments regarding this women's reputation. How would any of you feel if a man said things like that about your mothers, wives or daughters? This woman's only "crime" was describing the medical coverage covered by the health insurance plan at Georgetown University after being asked to do so by elected members of The Congress of the United States.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The Supreme Court checks for legitimacy? Only if some citizen complains. And then, half of the justices make their decisions based on their personal views, not strict adherence to the law.

If this woman needs birth control, she should pay for it. Period.

      Delete
    2. And then, half of the justices make their decisions based on their personal views, not strict adherence to the law.

Which 'half' considering there are 9 members?

  19. You must learn at least two things...

Apparently he forgot who his 'audience' was.

Learning, investigating, considering, weighing and analyzing are words NOT spoken on Posse blogs.

    Did you forget that??

    ReplyDelete
  20. I didn't forget, I was hoping.:-)

And, uh,......a person covered by insurance does "pay for it". The term self-insured can be misleading because insurance basically means spreading the risk among a group. And 94% of the Georgetown University student group wants birth control availability to be part of the risk they spread. It's kind of like when you talk to your insurance agent about what kind of "risks" of your home you want to spread and expect to be billed according to the risks you want covered. It's called your insurance policy.

You've mentioned emergency care for your children if required. That care wasn't available until the government, elected by the people, decided to make that care mandatory. Many people died before those laws.

Now here's a disheartening development in emergency health care I learned yesterday. Hospitals can now turn you away unless you are in immediate danger of death. And then they only have to stabilize you before they send you to your primary care physician. Ever try to see a primary care physician without insurance? Ain't gonna happen.

The health insurance coverage offered to employees of Georgetown University is probably paid in part by the university as a condition of employment.

    ReplyDelete
  21. "And then, half of the justices make their decisions based on their personal views, not strict adherence to the law."
-Actually TGP, it appears that might the problem if you've noticed recent decisions. I'm impressed you noticed.

"Do you think Pelosi just happened to randomly choose her to lie to congress?"
-She didn't lie and was chosen because of her knowledge of the subject of the hearing. Most of the persons chosen to testify before the Republican committee had long time religious affiliations. Does that make them "a "professional victim"" against "leftist causes"?

    ReplyDelete
  22. What's always forgotten in these cases is that Ms. Fluke could resolve her own problem of cost by a simple change in behavior. Maybe have a lot less sex? I love high-end steak but, I can't afford it every day, so I enjoy it once a month and since no one else is paying for it, I control the frequency and the cost. Perhaps, (wink-wink) she might consider saving herself for marriage (too late) and latch on to a wealthy guy who can buy her all the contraceptives? No need to thank me just trying to help here.

    ReplyDelete
  23. "What's always forgotten in these cases is that Ms. Fluke could resolve her own problem of cost by a simple change in behavior. Maybe have a lot less sex?"

And just how would you know how much sex Ms. Fluke is having? Been reading what she said in her testimony? If you would have actually watched her testimony you'd know she never ONCE talked about herself. Somebody's been listen' to too much fringe news and not enough actual news.

I also suspect somebody has never "gotten" much because they seem to lack an understanding of birth control. Hope they don't pass on those genes.

"...since no one else is paying for it," Well, at least you may have gotten that part right. It's she and her fellow students who pay for their own health insurance coverage, NOT ANY TAX PAYER MONEY (Geez, how many times do you have to tell someone before they listen?). And because it's a private health plan (where 94% of the owners what birth control coverage), it it FULLY paid for by the members.

  24. "-She didn't lie and was chosen because of her knowledge of the subject of the hearing."

Her "knowledge" of the cost of birth control pills was $900 per year more expensive than the truth.
There is a big difference between the $324 actual cost over a 3 year period than the $3000 pricetag she quoted to congress.

So, she either lied or, doesent know WTF she's talking about or, just too stupid to handle money. (a perfect democrat trifecta)

Those with church affiliations were stating their position on the government forcing them to provide something that runs counter to their values.

Your professional moonbat was trying to state her case as to why the taxpayer should be liable for the cost of HER personal lifestyle decisions.

Two completely different reasons for testimony altogether.

Now THAT is a hoot! Especially comming from someone who voted for Obama and, is dumb enough to go back for seconds!

BTW muddy, you must be celebrating your historic president's latest historic feat...

The federal government recorded its worst monthly deficit in history in February, according to a preliminary report Wednesday from the Congressional Budget Office that said the deficit in fiscal year 2012 is already more than half a trillion dollars!

    Historic!

The CBO projected the government will run a deficit of $229 billion in February, the highest monthly figure ever. The previous high was $223 billion a year ago, in February 2011.

    Historic!

It is the 41st straight month the government has run a deficit — itself a record streak!

    Historic!

Before now, the longest streak on record was 11 months.

    Historic!

For all of fiscal year 2012, which began Oct. 1, the budget analysts said the government has raised $869 billion in revenue but spent $1.5 trillion so far.

    Historic!

The CBO’s figures show that despite repeated efforts to trim spending, the government has borrowed 42 cents of every dollar it spent during the first five months of this fiscal year.

    Historic!

Damn muddy! You were 100% correct that electing your unvetted and inexperienced clown was going to make history!

I once told you that Obama was less qualified than a night manager at a bowling alley and, I wish to apoligize
...to EVERY night manager of bowling alleys everywhere who are at least smart enough to NOT bankrupt the very businesses they're hired to run!
It was completely unfair of me to even compare the vast responsibilities that fall on bowling alley night managers to a liberal that has no idea what responsibility means.

And so night managers of bowling alleys everywhere, I salute you for being rungs on the ladder above the pile of shit that muddy shoved into office without even bothering to interview...

Shouldn't they be eliminating themselves by their very own actions/beliefs. Hey maybe I'm on to something here. Perhaps, I've struck on an idea that we all can believe in. Wouldn't that be money well spent? Just wondering/hoping!

  28. All this talk about what she said and what she didn't say. Well, here's the ACTUAL testimony:

After you watch it and listen to it, commence with the name calling. And I do wonder why all you NON-CATHOLICS are so interested since you usually badger Catholics. It's almost as if you pick your arguments for convenience.

So TGP, you're oldest is going to need condoms soon. Are you going to supply them? Hey, your buddy Rush said the same thing about Ms. Fluke so I assume you have no problem with the disrespect of children.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I'm a non-catholic. As a matter of fact I'm pretty non-religious as far as church and bible studies go.
I DO know the catholic church's position on contraception.
    Do I agree with it?
Not necessarily but, it's their belief and of no interest to me to shit on it on anyone's behalf.

Muslims and Jews don't eat pork but, alpha-bat I'd be the first to stand with them if some prick within the government tried to mandate them to consume, handle utilize or, fund it's use any way if their beliefs forbade it.

I don't care how many moonbats errupt from the woodwork with surveys "proving" that 98% of them secretly consume pork.

If the people of those religions decide to force change to their church's policies and beliefs themselves, so be it.

THAT decision is between them and God. You and your degenerate government ought to keep the hell out of it just as you demand they keep their God out of your state.

I didn't choose this arguement, your leftist shitbag friends in congress passed a law they never bothered to read with a reckless disregard for whether people wanted it or, if it was even constitutionally legal.

I'm arguing this issue alongside the catholics because if we sit idle and allow this government to set a precedent for ignoring the religious rights of some citizens, they most certainly will return to ignore someone else's rights in the future.

    Quite possibly your own!

As for your issue with TJ's kids and the comparison between them and Sandra Fluke, I'd bet that when TJ's kids are THIRTY and college educated like your moonbat Sandra, they won't be begging for a government handout after taking worthless activist "victim" courses at an Ivy league school!

    Typical fucking moonbat.
Spend years taking worthless courses, spend years working volunteer "jobs" for moonbat interests and at age 30 testify why the taxpayer should be responsible for providing something for her.

I took a free ride through Cornell university and blew it by taking activists classes that don't equate to shit in the business world and pissed away my free time "working" for leftist agenda groups instead of gaining real experience in a workplace!
    Feel sorry for me!

"It's almost as if you pick your arguments for convenience."

    RESPONSIBILITY

You and muddy evade that issue like the fucking plague anytime it's mentioned.

Responsibility (sound it out if you need to) is the antithesis of liberalism.

Freedom has responsibilities which is why liberals demand the government run their lives.

Rights and responsibility are intermeshed which means that any right you wish to exercise could have the consequence of being accountable for excercising it.

You can't demand rights and freedoms while trying to shift the responsibilities onto the shoulders of others without infringing on the their rights!
And simply trying to use the force of government to do it on your behalf doesent make it moral.

Then again, morals aren't a liberal strongpoint either.

Let's get something straight. The Constitution is not a fluent/fluid or a living document like you so foolishly believe and promote. That is nothing more than a creation of the far left leaning liberal educators over the past 40 years, to validate their rape of the Constitution. The BS that you can interpret it this way and that way is a bunch of crap. It's as much a guise as the leftist comedians like Letterman, Leno etc. who use their shows to bash conservatives under the guise of comedy. It's all subliminal BS. But, why would you care anyway, BO doesn't recognize the Constitution at all. His interpretation is that it doesn't exist.

-Somebody is stating an opinion regarding the Roman Catholic Church who doesn't know dick about it. It doesn't work that way....never has.

Sepp said: "...why the taxpayer should be responsible for providing something for her."
-Listen closely this time - THERE IS NO TAX PAYER MONEY INVOLVED! She is talking about a health insurance plan owed and paid by by the students of Georgetown University. Did I mention it is a PRIVATE Catholic inspired -NOT OWNED-university?

Paladin said: "The Constitution is not a fluent/fluid or a living document like you so foolishly believe and promote."
-How can anyone respond to a statement like that? Maybe they think "God" wrote that too. All I can say is somebody must have slept through civics class. Boy, if that's all the better they know the United States government, I sure hope they don't vote 'cause they sure haven't earned the privilege.

And do you all have very short memories or just like to argue lame ideals? Ya 'all are whining 'bout religious freedom in the United States, but I seem to recall some bitchin' goin' on when the Oklahoma law about Sharia law was ruled unconstitutional just recently. So you must think that this Constitutional right to religious freedom only applies when YOU decide it does.

TGP, you know that graduates from Roman Catholic primary and secondary schools do better both in further education and type of job they might be eligible. And Roman Catholic schools have always admitted non-Catholics. Can you imagine if your non-Catholic children were not admitted because they didn't attend church? Can you imagine your sick child not be seen at a Catholic hospital because she hadn't attended church?

The law exempts the individual churches and their employees. What is not included are the majority non-Catholic employees or non-Catholic students at NON-Pope-in-Rome owned institutions.

The Evangelicals have never had time for Roman Catholics, but now it seems they are doing the work for the Pope-In-Rome trying to force Roman Catholics in the United States to unwilling follow his orders. And for those readers 'bout to use that tired line "they could go somewhere else', save your breath. I know that in Toledo, Ohio, the only safe schools in the hood are the Roman Catholic schools. And the best high schools in Toledo, Ohio are the five Catholic inspired schools. And for those of you geographically challenged, Georgetown University in located in Washington D.C., the best place to get a college education if you are going into public law.

America has always been a place of tolerance and working together, so let's do it!

  35. Tenth,

Wow - you sure know how to spark a discussion. I didn't read every word, but it is funny watching Alphabat trying to lecture on the Constitution. Social Security is particularly funny.

Liberals (democrats, progressives, socialists, whatever) sold it initially to the public as a forced government savings program. The government continues the charade annually by showing you your "account" information. If it's my account - I want my money back.

Social Security was attacked in the courts as being unconstitutional (it is and always has been) but liberals successfully protected it in court by crossing over and calling it a "tax."

That irony is no doubt lost on Alphabat and Mud_PILE.

If Liberals ever told the truth - no one would buy their line of crap.

After all, isn't that what makes great men so great. I will be the first to admit, I don't know everything about every topic you've listed. But I've dedicated this entire year to studying the Constitution.

"No, Social Security was not in it, but slavery was." ...........................
This claim you made is false. Are you willing to admit it?
In the original document, the 3/5th's of a man part that you mentioned in an earlier comment has to do with how tax money was appropriated amongst the states. Nowhere in the Constitution does it give man the right to own slaves.
Then of course, the 13th Amendment finally abolished slavery.

As for The Affordable Health Care Act. 1100 pages? Did you make it all the way through? I know one thing. My taxes will go up in 2014, and I make less than $250k per year. Therefore, I was lied to, by our Commander-In-Chief.

  39. Tenth,

You really need a higher class of liberal visitor. It took awhile for Alphabat to roll out slavery. When the Constitution was written slavery was a fact of life throughout the Globe. There is evidence that the attempt to cast off slavery was at least partially responsible for independence movements in several colonies when King George squashed the effort before the Revolution.

The Constitution is a compromise on many issues, but anti-slavery forces inserted two poison pills in the Constitution aimed squarely at bringing slavery to an end. Liberals don't understand this part. The 3/5th issue was an effort by anti-slavery forces to limit the power of slave States. If the State freed said person(s), they would count as a whole person. Liberals stupidly think that was an indication of racism - the race of the 3/5th person was not mentioned only that they were not "free."

The other poison pill was that the Constitution addressed "The Migration or Importation of such Persons" which everyone at that time understood to be the slave trade. By mentioning that it couldn't be restricted until 1808 - the Constitution recognized it and implied that the new government could change it or restrict it. In that the government is restricted from any power not specifically enumerated in the Constitution - this mention was huge. It signaled when the slave trade could end but did not envision that democrats would keep slavery alive until forced by war to abandon the practice.
