Hank Jr. has always been one of my favorites. When I lived in Rhode Island for a year in 1984-85, I became a big fan of his song "I'm busted here with Dixie on my mind." He has always been a true conservative, and he has written song after song about it.

Then we can tell our kids stories like the depression stories our grandparents told us. "We walked to and from school uphill bothways in our bare feet in a snow storm.... only rich liberal kids had shoes...thank God for President Perry".
